WHAT IS REQUIRED TO SAVE MY DATE?
A 500.00 deposit is required to save the date. The full amount is due 30 days before the event which also includes the security deposit of 250.00.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
The 500.00 deposit is non refundable. Once your special event is booked the date is taken off of our calendar and other events are not able to schedule for that day.
WHAT IS THE CAPACITY AT THE BARN?
Our venue can host 300 guests. However, we currently only have seating available for 200 guests at this time. We are in the process of searching for more seating arrangements.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
We love pets at The Barn so of course they are allowed. Pets do need to remain outside of the building to limit allergy's to others and must be leashed at all times. Once the ceremony has taken place the pet will need to be returned to his or her home.
WHAT ARE THE PARKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR MY EVENT?
We have a spacious parking area to accommodate all guests. Our parking attendants will direct guests as they arrive.
IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED AT MY EVENT?
We only allow beer and wine. We do not allow liquor.
IS SMOKING ALOUD AT THE EVENT?
Due to safety concerns smoking is NOT aloud within 25 feet of the building. If you or your guests wish to smoke you are welcome to do so but you must be 25 feet away from the building and correctly dispose of the cigarette butts.
IS THE BARN ONLY FOR WEDDINGS?
We mostly host weddings at The Barn but the options are endless. Guests can host anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, family reunions, and even a high school prom. We also have many photo shoot opportunities for engagements, high school seniors, or family portraits.
IS THE BARN AT EDWARDS FARMS CLIMATE CONTROLLED?
Our barn does have heating available during the winter months to keep you and your guests conformable.
DOES THE BARN PROVIDE ANY SPECIAL LIGHTING?
We have permanent string lights installed upstairs in the loft area of the barn. We also have two beautiful chandelier's hanging in the main event area. Our patio area is also equipped with string lights.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF MY EVENT OR WEDDING?
We certainly hope it doesn't rain on your special day but unfortunately we can't control the weather. If the weather does not cooperate on your day then the outdoor events can be moved indoors. Our large barn will provide enough room for both ceremony and reception without being too cramped.
WHAT TYPE OF ITEMS ARE ALOUD AT MY WEDDING FOR THE SEND - OFF?
Bubbles, glow sticks, real rose petals and sparkers are allowed outside the building. We do NOT allow glitter, rice, bird seed, artificial rose petals or confetti. These items will need to be cleaned up after the event.
